Extract From ZIP (GPL)It's easy to extract all files from a ZIP archive with the unzip utility. But it can be much more difficult to extract a single file; especially in a large backup archive. That is because you must specify the entire path for the file to match, even if you know the file name. And once you do inflate the exact file you specify, it puts the file is its directory nesting. Now you have to move that file out of the nesting and remove the directories. This "ExtractFromZIP.bash" UNIX shell script takes the chore out of extract a few files out of a ZIP archive. You can simply specify the file name and this script will find it in the ZIP archive. Then it will extract the file(s) to the current directory so that you won't have to deal with nested directories. "ExtractFromZIP.sh" takes advantage of the following shell script, which is also available on this site. So to use the this script, you will need to download this other script if you don't already have it.
