TailMinus.sh (GPL)TailMinus.sh is a Bourne Shell script that works similar to UNIX tail command. Except with TailMinus.sh, you can specify how many lines to skip. and TailMinus.sh will output the rest of the text file. TailMinus.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site. UsageTailMinus.sh "skip lines" "file" Chieh Cheng I've made an improvement TailMinus.sh so that it can not only process text from a file, but also process text from standard input. The file argument is now optional. The new version of this script is attached below. This new version of TailMinus.sh takes advantage of the GetTempPathName.ksh (GPL) Korn shell script, which is also available on this web site. So to use this script, you will need to download the GetTempPathName.ksh script if you don't already have it. Chieh Cheng
