NumberToString.sh (GPL)NumberToString.sh is a Bourne shell script that takes a number and the number of total digits. It then convert that number to a string and pad the front of the number with '0' up to the digits you specify. NumberToString.sh takes advantage of the StrLen.sh (GPL) Bourne shell script that is also available on this site. So to use this script, you will need to download the StrLen.sh script if you don't already have it. NumberToString.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License.
