IsDiscreteNumber.sh (GPL)IsDiscreteNumber.sh is a Bourne Shell script that helps your custom shell scripts determine whether the specified argument is a discrete number. Only discrete numbers are valid; floating point numbers are not. You can use it to test the validity of user input, etc. This script outputs a '1' for true and a '0' for false. IsDiscreteNumber.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.
