I have made quite a few changes in this iteration. now has better error handling mechanism, has more modular code, has support for larger file sizes, has support for the new IEC prefixes. In this iteration, supports kibibyte (KiB), mebibyte (MiB), gibibyte (GiB), tebibyte (TiB), pebibyte (PiB), and exbibyte (EiB). The algorithm will support zebibyte (ZiB) and yobibyte (YiB) when computers can handle those numbers in the future.

This version of takes advantage of the (GPL) Bourne shell script, which is also available on this site. So to use this script, you will need to download the script if you don't already have it.
