Extract PHP Value in Shell Script (GPL)Sometimes, it is beneficial to integrate PHP scripts and shell scripts in your system. PHP might be used for front-end web services, while shell scripts are doing the work in the back-end. Many times, that introduces constant values that are needed in both PHP and shell script side. One way is to duplicate the same constant in two different places. But that is a maintenance head-ache. Another way is to extract the value from one side and use it in another side. "PHP_ExtractValue.sh" allows your shell scripts to retrieve PHP defines and variables, so that you can define all the constants on the PHP side. "PHP_ExtractValue.sh" takes advantage of the following shell script, which is also available on this site. So to use the this script, you will need to download this other script if you don't already have it. GetTempPathName.ksh "PHP_ExtractValue.sh" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site. UsagePHP_ExtractValue.sh "PHP file" "define" Chieh Cheng
