CalcExp.sh (GPL)expr is an UNIX arithmetic command that I use in my UNIX shell scripts. When I tried to use it to calculate exponent today, I found out that the exponential operator is not supported. So I wrote this script. CalcExp.sh calculates the value of a base and an exponent. You specify the two values on the command-line and this script calculates to the results for you. It can be called by other scripts to do exponential operations. CalcExp.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site. Chieh Cheng
