Convert Comma Separated Table to HTML Table (GPL)

"ConvertTableCSV2HTML.bash" is an UNIX BASH script that helps you convert comma separated value CSV data into a table in HTML format. The results can be sent to the display output or redirected to a file. It has the ability to handle data coming in through STDIN (pipe). Using this converter, you can easily place your CSV data onto a web page.

"ConvertTableCSV2HTML.bash" takes advantage of the following UNIX shell script, which is also available on this site. So to use the this script, you will need to download this other script if you don't already have it.

GetTempPathName.ksh

"ConvertTableCSV2HTML.bash" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.

Usage

  ConvertTableCSV2HTML.bash [ -singleLine ] "file 1" [ . . . "file N" ]

You may substitute '-' in place of a file to read from STDIN.

Use the -singleLine flag if you want to generate the HTML on
a single line. This flag may show up anywhere on the command-
line. But only data specified after this flag will be
generated in this manner.
