A Fable A Day: Change Log

Version 1.0

The initial version of "A Fable A Day" Android app that lets you download the classic fable of the day and displays it on your Android mobile device or phone. You will have access to these classic fables anywhere you go.

If you don't have an Android device, you can still enjoy the online version: "A Fable A Day".

Version 1.1

This newer version displays a message at start to let you know it is downloading today's fable from the internet.

Internally, it reuses the improvements that are made in the "A Fairy Tale A Day" app.

Version 1.2

Implement check to ensure that the Android device is connected to the Internet. Otherwise, it notifies the user, so that the corrective action can be made.

Version 1.3

Implemented Admob interface and cleaned up code slightly.

Version 2.0

  • Added widget so that users can see today's fable at a glance. The widget can be install on the Android home.
  • Added about dialog box to provide version information.
