Installing SleepWatcher on Mac OS X
DownloadBefore installing SleepWatcher, you'll have to download a copy of it. You can download a copy off bb's Homepage (see "Related Links" below). The version as of this writing is 2.0.5. InstallationAfter download it, you should have a sleepwatcher_x.x.x.dmg file on your computer. Find this file and click, or double-click, it to mount it to your desktop. There will be a "SleepWatcher x.x.x" drive on your desktop. The following window (see screen shot below) should automatically pop-up. If it doesn't, you can double-click on the drive to bring it up. Install sleepwatch.pkg by double-clicking on it. Click on the "Continue" button a few times, accept the agreement, enter your password once, and the package should be installed. Next, we are going to install "SleepWatcher StartupItem.pkg". The ReadMe.rtf file, although well written, is rather confusing. It claims that this package is only used for backward compatibility, therefore, it sounds like you shouldn't install it. But don't give it a second thought. You'll need to install it to get the full benefit of SleepWatcher. Install "SleepWatcher StartupItem.pkg" by double-clicking on it. Click on the "Continue button a few times, accept the agreement, enter your password once, and the package should be installed. At this point SleepWatcher should be installed and ready to serve you.
