Shutdown WindowsShutdown Windows is a small Windows utility that provides the ability to log out of your user account, to reboot your computer, and to shutdown Windows using hotkeys. The functions are mapped to Windows-L, Windows-R, and Windows-S, respectively. It provides the convenience to Windows operating systems that doesn't have the built-in feature. In addition, it allows the power button shutdown to be disabled for computers near babies and young children, without loosing the quick shutdown convenience. Shutdown Windows stays in the Windows Taskbar while it's active. To disable this utility, right click on its Taskbar icon and choose Suspend Hotkeys, Pause Script, or Exit. Shutdown Windows is distributed as freeware. You may freely distribute this utility, so long as you distribute the entire software package as a whole. InstallationAfter downloading the archive and extracting all of the content, double-click on the Install.bat that is located in the content folder. The software will install itself in "Program Files" and add itself to the Start menu. To make this utility start-up by default, copy the shortcut in the Start menu into your "Startup" folder. An uninstall script is installed at the same time. You can uninstall this utility at any time by clicking on "Uninstall" in the Start menu. DownloadShutdown Windows 1.0 is now available.
