SetACL 2 has stopped working

Recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 running on it. I'm using TakeControl 2.03 to take control of files on my external hard drive. TakeControl 2.03 uses SetACL 2.0.3.0 to change the Access Control List (ACL) of various files. But every once in a while I get the error message indicated above.

This problem seems to occur randomly so far. I look at the files names that it operates on and couldn't see any real differences. Could anyone shed some light on what is actually happening?

Just realized that there is a crash report for each of these occurrences. Here is an example:
