StoreImage.sh (GPL)StoreImage.sh is a Bourne shell script that copies an image file into an archive directory for storage. It's mainly used for archiving time-lapse web came images. This script is most useful along with the StoreSequence.sh script available on this site. This script will first check to see if the image is ok (it's possible that the image is still being written to the hard disk when this script is called). If so, it will archive the image. The script will then see if there is already a directory for today's date. If not, it will create a today's directory and store the image in there. The image is named based on its date and time of creation (see FileDate.sh elsewhere on this site). StoreImage.sh takes advantage of the GetTempPathName.ksh (GPL) Korn shell script, IsImageOk.sh (GPL) Bourne shell script, and the FileDate.sh (GPL) Bourne shell script. These scripts are all available on this site. So to use StoreImage.sh, you will need to download the these other scripts if you don't already have them.
