RandomIdentificationGenerator.sh (GPL)

RandomIdentificationGenerator.sh is a command-line Bourne shell script utility. It helps you generate random identification of any arbitrary length. The identification is based on upper and lower case alphabet.

RandomIdentificationGenerator.sh takes advantage of the Random.sh (GPL) Bourne shell script and the Token.sh (GPL) Bourne shell script. Both of these scripts are also available on this site. So to use this script, you will need to download those scripts if you don't already have them.

RandomIdentificationGenerator.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.

Usage

RandomIdentificationGenerator.sh length
