Is Script Running (GPL)

"IsScriptRunning.sh" is a Bourne shell script that helps you determine whether another script is already running. If it finds the script you specified on the command line, it outputs '1'. Otherwise, it outputs '0'. You can use this script in your own custom scripts and cron jobs to disallow duplicate script processes.

"IsScriptRunning.sh" takes advantage of the following shell scripts, which are also available on this site. So to use the this script, you will need to download these other scripts if you don't already have them.

GetTempPathName.ksh
Token.sh

"IsScriptRunning.sh" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.

Usage

IsScriptRunning.sh "script name"
