IsImageOk.sh (GPL)IsImageOk.sh is a UNIX shell script that helps you determine whether a file is an image. And if it is an image, whether it is ok (not corrupt). This script takes in a file path as command-line argument. It evaluates whether the file specified is an image and whether it is corrupt. If it is an ok image, it outputs '1' (for true). If the file is not an image or is a corrupt image, it outputs '0' (for false). IsImageOk.sh uses "identify", which is part of the ImageMagick set of tools, to determine if an image is valid. Therefore, you will need to install ImageMagick if it is not already installed on your system. ImageMagick is free, open source software. IsImageOk.sh is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.
