DiffDirs.sh (GPL)DiffDirs.sh is a Bourne shell script that compares files in two directions and indicate whether the files are the same or different. It could recursively enter into sub-directories and compare files within. I had known about "dircmp" but could not find it anywhere in my Linux distribution. So I had written this directory comparison utility because I needed it. DiffDirs.sh is not a direct replacement for "dircmp". I did not have access to "dircmp" to see how it works. DiffDirs.sh takes advantage of the Set (GPL) shell scripts that is also available on this site. To use DiffDirs, you'll have to download the Set shell scripts if you don't already have it.
