Install Kext.app (Freeware)

Surprisingly, you can't simply click on an Mac OS X kernel extension to install it. Instead, you have to go to the Apple Terminal and type a series of commands. What a pain!?

So this Mac OS X "Install Kext" application does the job for you. All you have to do is to drag and drop the kext(s) onto the "Install Kext" application. Then reboot your Mac OS X machine to load the new kernel extensions.

"Install Kext.app" is distributed as Freeware. Please see the "Freeware License Agreement" elsewhere on this site.
