How to Uninstall Magic Menu? How does one uninstall your magic Menu product. it appears that Magic Menu is causing a conflict between Bento 3.0 (Filemaker product) and Mac OSX 10.6.1 (Snow Leopard). Thanks in advance.... Reynolds Roy You can first turn off MagicMenu for applications that you want to have auto-hide disabled. After that, just drag and drop the MagicMenu folder with its utilities into the trash can. Chieh Cheng Thank you, but I have no idea what applications it has been applied to. Is there any way to determine this? Reynolds Roy Where is the MagicMenu Folder to be removed? when I search for magicMenu I only see a preference pane item in my /library. How can I fully uninstall it? Thanks Bob Albert Doh! user error. Sorry had the wrong application. disregard my last post. bob Albert where is magic menu folder? i just want to unistall it but can find nothing concerning magic menu on my mac through search! anonymous Depends on where YOU put the folder. Chieh Cheng Can't you just a small uninstall program that takes all MagicMenu effects out and securely puts all in the Trash ? eric We have thought of such a software. However, at this time, we do not have a plan to write such an uninstall program. Chieh Cheng You don't plan to create an uninstall for a program that you created? That's pretty lazy of you, and inconsiderate. Jonnyt Jonnyt, Are you sure you are talking about the Magic Menu that we are talking about in this thread? The Magic Menu we are talking about cannot install itself without your knowledge, because it doesn't even have an install program. You'd have to install it yourself. And being that the Magic Menu program is provided free to the user, it's quite arrogant for you to call the developer "lazy". Chieh Cheng So I just move the application icon into the trash to do an uninstall? brian Yes, brian, if you are talking about this MagicMenu, which this thread is about: Seems like a lot of folks come here for a different MagicMenu software. Chieh Cheng
