Extract PDF Text (GPL)"Extract PDF Text.app" is a free Mac OS X application that helps you extract text in a PDF into a plain text file. After running the "Extract PDF Text.app" application, it will ask you for a PDF file. After you select a PDF file to process, it will extract the text and save it to a text file on your desktop. The text file has the same name as the PDF, except the "PDF" extension is changed to the "txt" extension. "Extract PDF Text.app" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site. Chieh Cheng GPL Violation! Where's the source code? Devon Sean McCullough Wolf-Cryer Violation! You're funny . . . The "source" is in the app. It's an app created with Automator (note that this thread is in the Automator forum?), which means that you open it by dragging it onto the "Automator" to open the "source". You can also drag it onto the "Script Editor" to see some other interesting details, though I'm not sure what those details are about. Chieh Cheng
