Desktop Browser Released for Android 3.0 Tablet Users

One of our favorite Android device is the Motorola Xoom tablet, which runs Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). The Xoom features a 10 inch screen and a dual-core processor. Not long after we started playing with this tablet, we realized the potential of browsing the web using this tablet. In most cases, it can render full-featured web sites just fine, much like a regular computer. And there is enough screen estate to use the full-feature web site.

The problem is that many web site sees the Android Browser and immediately serves the mobile version of their web site to the Xoom. Not only is the huge screen estate wasted, but the limited functionality of the mobile web site isn't all that useful on the Xoom.

Hence, we released the Desktop Browser app to the Android Market. This browser for your high-performance Android tablet renders most, if not all, web sites as they do on your desktop or notebook computer. Therefore, you can fully harness the power of your Android tablet and browse the way you browse on your computer.

Download a copy today so that you can enjoy browsing the web as you should. Don't be forced to use the limited function mobile web sites.
