javadoc no longer supports three slashes

While generating the documentation for CI Game Library, I noticed that quite a few comments are missing from the generated documentation. Upon closer look, I noticed that only comments surrounded with /** */ showed up. But none of the comments identified with /// showed. When did javadoc get rid of the /// javadoc convention?

I am using 1.4.2 to generate the docs. And I haven't figured out how to get javadoc 1.4.2 to continue to use three slashes. Can anyone help?
