Sleep (Freeware)While writing a batch file in Windows XP, I realized that the Windows Command Prompt does not have a sleep command. That kind of puts a damper on the software I want to write. So I decided to write this Sleep command-line utility in Java. That way, it could be used on any operating system as long as there is Java Runtime Environment. To use this software, just execute it on the command-line and specify the number of milliseconds to sleep as its only argument. Sleep takes advantage of the CI Class Package 5.5 or newer. You will have to download the package and install it if you don't have it already. Sleep is distributed as Freeware. Please see the "Freeware License Agreement" elsewhere on this site.
