Java Runtime Environment Update Growing WildI have always thought that the JRE being able to download and install updates to itself is really cool. But today, I realized that all its updates are taking up space on my hard drive. Apparently, event though it automatically updates, it doesn't automatically remove the older version. Today, I found my "Add or Remove Programs" filled with JRE updates (see screen shot below). And that's what remains after I had already manually remove two or three JRE updates. Each update took up to 150 MB of space! Chieh Cheng
