Unable to resolve targetToday, I pulled down the changes to one of our Android apps from configuration management repository. When I tried to compile, I got the following error message: BUILD FAILED It took me a while to figure out why I have this build error. The error is caused by the following line in "default.properties": target=Google Inc.:Google APIs:8 Originally, the line was . . . target=android-8 After changing the line back, the project builds again. It's obvious that one of the developer checked this file in. But it is unclear what or why this line is changed. Possibly a Eclipse side-effect. Chieh Cheng
