Taking Screen Shots with Android 4.0Taking screen shots of Android apps has always been troublesome. You can't do it directly on the phone. Instead, you have to connect the phone to the computer via USB. It's easier if you have a rooted phone. But rooting the phone is not all that intuitive either. The next best thing is to capture a screen shot in the Android emulator. Then you got to crop and deal with the slow speed. It wasn't under Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwish) that Google implemented a screen capture function into the operating system. If you have Android 4.0, then screen shot is as easy as pie. And you don't have to deal with the cropping, etc. To capture the screen, hold down "volume down" and the "power" button for two seconds. Android will make a beep sound to indicate a screen shot has been made. Screen shots are stored in "/sdcard/Pictures/Screenshots/". Mel
