Nationite MIDnite and RotateD?

I have a tablet of 7" Nationite MIDnite (Wits A81E) with Android 2.2. My problem is that almost always works in the landscape position (only a few applications don't do) and I did not find how to do the tablet work in portrait position. I have recommended sellers use RotateD program ensuring that would solve my problem. But it wasn't so. RotateD causes slight and tiny changes in my device. Nothing else. The screen does not rotate, both setting "automatic" or not. Could you give me any suggestions?
