Error 406: Not Acceptable

Recently, I got a "Not Acceptable" on a web site that I frequent almost daily with aBrowser. This error just won't clear itself. The full error message is . . .

"An appropriate representation of the requested resource / coult not be found on this server."

This error message seems to be caused by sporadic Internet connection on SmartPhone. Perhaps, cookies got jumbled during transmission. The following steps explains how to clear it on an Android phone with any Android browser.

Tap the Home button to go to Android home screen.
Tap the Menu button.
Select "Settings".
Select "Applications".
Choose "Manage applications".
Scroll through the list of application to find the one that is giving this error message.
Tap on that application.
Tap the "Clear data" button.
Tap the "OK" button when it asks for confirmation.
Tap the Home button to go to Android home.

Next time you visit that web site with the app you just cleared, it should resolve this error message. If it happens again, due to sporadic Internet connection, just repeat the steps.
