Creating an AlertDialogFollowing Google Android's Developer Guide on building an AlertDialog had me stomped. The dialog box just wouldn't pop up when I'm done. The following is the source code in the example: AlertDialog.Builder builder = new AlertDialog.Builder(this); After messing around with it for a while, I found a change to the source code above that would work. Simply change the last line ("AlertDialog alert = builder.create();" to "builder.show ()" and the dialog box pops up. Chieh Cheng
