Robot Disc Archiver (GPL)
"Robot Disc Archiver.cmd" batch script helps you copy your computer data disc collections to your mass storage device. As CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs becomes obsolete, it's vital to have an automated software to help you archive your precious discs. This script basically monitors a drive for disc change. Whenever it sees a new disc inserted, it automatically copies it for you into a new numbered folder.
Without this script, you would have to sit at the computer, insert the disc, make a new directory/folder, copy the content of the disc to the folder, remove the disc, and do it again. With "Robot Disc Archiver.cmd" you can shortcut those steps to just inserting the disc. You don't even have to sit down any more.
"Robot Disc Archiver.cmd" takes advantage of the following batch files. They are also available on this web site. So to use "Robot Disc Archiver.cmd", you'll have to download these other batch scripts, if you don't already have them.
In addition, you need to download the "Command Line Tool: Eject" from Four Ways To Insert/Eject CD-ROM Tray In Windows in order to have it automatically eject discs.
