Unzip To Directory (GPL)"Unzip To Directory.cmd" is Windows batch program that unzips all of the files in a ZIP archive and places them in a folder that is titled the same as the ZIP archive. It save you the time of creating a new folder, renaming the folder, and then copy the files from the ZIP archive to the folder. It's a one step drag-and-drop operation with "Unzip To Directory.cmd". "Unzip To Directory.cmd" takes advantage of the following batch files. They are also available on this web site. So to use "Unzip To Directory.cmd", you'll have to download these other batch scripts, if you don't already have them. basename.bat You will also need an command-line unzip utility in your path in order for this batch file to work. You can get a free command-line unzip utility from Info-ZIP (see link in the "Related Links" section below). "Unzip To Directory.cmd" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site. If you make changes to this batch file, please feel free to upload it back here to share it with others. Usage"Unzip To Directory.cmd" "zip file path" Chieh Cheng Found a bug in "Unzip To Directory.cmd". It doesn't take account of the ZIP file being unzipped on a different drive then where the script is being executed. This bug has been fixed in the new version attached below. However, in addition to taking advantage of the scripts listed above, it now also needs one additional script: DriveName.cmd Chieh Cheng Today, I found that "Unzip To Directory.cmd" fails when operating on a Windows network drive. So I modified it to work. Attached is the new version of the script. This version doesn't need the "DriveName.cmd" script mentioned above. Chieh Cheng
