Merge PDF (GPL)

"Merge PDF.bat" is a batch file that makes merging two PDF's quick and easy. It's primary purpose is to provide a simple drag & drop GUI interface front end to the free pdftk (the pdf toolkit), so that you will never have to start the Command Prompt to merge your PDF's.

When you drag & drop two or more PDF's onto "Merge PDF.bat", it will ask you for the output file name. You should specify the ".pdf" extension as part of the file name. The file name can include spaces. The output file will be saved to your Windows Desktop. So, please pick a file name that doesn't collide with anything that is already on your Desktop; or "Merge PDF.bat" will keep asking you for an output file name.

"Merge PDF.bat" takes advantage of the following batch file, which is also available on this site. So to use the this batch file, you will need to download the following batch file if you don't already have it.

SetNumberOfArguments.bat

"Merge PDF.bat" requires the free pdftk (the pdf toolkit) to merge your PDF files. So in order to use this batch file, you'll have to download and install pdftk on your computer, if you haven't already done so.

"Merge PDF.bat" is distributed as executable source code under the GNU General Public License. Please see the license agreement elsewhere on this site.

Usage

  "Merge PDF.bat" "PDF 1" "PDF 2" [ ... "PDF N" ]
