Disable PowerShell Execution Policy (GPL)

Windows PowerShell is a more advanced scripting environment than the Windows Command Prompt. Along with it comes a new scripting language. But executing PowerShell scripts is not as easy as executing Windows batch scripts. In fact, on install, PowerShell cannot execute PowerShell scripts at all, because it's restricted. But turning off the restriction is a piece of cake. So I'm not sure what this restriction really protects.

To turn off this protection, simply use the following command in Windows Command Prompt:

  PowerShell Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

I've also implemented this in an automated batch script. You can run this script every time you install a new Windows OS. This script shows you the PowerShell execution policy, set it to "unrestricted", and then shows you the new policy.
